pms_group_booking

The stay is part of a group booking in the PMS. Change or cancel group bookings in the PMS.

HTTP 409The resource is not in a state that allows this operation.

When it fires

You tried to change or cancel a stay that is one room of a group booking in the PMS. A group booking is changed as a whole in the PMS, so Repull refuses to change one part of it. Cloudbeds is the only PMS here that books several rooms under one reservation; each room arrives in Repull as its own reservation.

Response shape

Every Repull error follows the same envelope. The code is stable and safe to switch on.

{
  "error": {
    "code": "pms_group_booking",
    "message": "This stay is one room of a Cloudbeds group booking; change it in Cloudbeds.",
    "fix": "This stay is part of a group booking in Cloudbeds. Change or cancel group bookings in Cloudbeds; the change reaches Repull with the next sync.",
    "docs_url": "https://repull.dev/docs/errors/pms_group_booking",
    "request_id": "req_01J5X7Y8Z9ABCDEF12345678",
    "provider": "cloudbeds"
  }
}

How to fix

  1. Do not retry.
  2. Make the change in the PMS named in `provider`. It reaches Repull with the next sync and `reservation.updated` or `reservation.cancelled` fires.

Examples

curl

curl -X POST https://api.repull.dev/v1/reservations/215711/cancel \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"

TypeScript

const { error } = await res.json()
if (error?.code === 'pms_group_booking') {
  return { changeInPms: error.provider } // group bookings are changed in the PMS
}
